Should the school be closed on Monday, please continue to work on your project. Also, please start to learn the following key terms associated with derivatives –
Please hand in/email to Mr Conway the following:-
3rd December 2012 – List of sources of information (at least 10! You need “A wide range of different types of sources” to get into the top mark band for research)
17th December 2012 – 500 word summary/intro to your project
25th February 2013 – 1st draft. This will be the skeleton of your project. I would like you to have organised the structure, although some info/analysis will be missing.
25th March 2013 – Semi final draft – most analysis will be complete at this stage.
29th April 2013 – Final project submission date – Must be fully complete and sent electronically to Mr Conway.
Finding sources of information – Task gather at least 10 different sources.
This morning I would like students to continue research for their project. When you find a suitable resource, please reply to this post with details of it. Please be specific and give the full url rather than just www.bbc.co.uk.
Perhaps a good starting point for most of you is this – http://www.globalissues.org/article/768/global-financial-crisis. From here you could explore and find further sources of information.
You also have, of course, the printout from Christopher Stokes book – All you need to know about the city.
